This cameras fits and works well with all AI and newer AI-s AF, Auto Focus or Manual Focus lenses. When work with AF lenses, the lens only operates manually.
This camera is unused and in perfect working condition.
Cosmetically, There is absolutely no mark, dings, no dent, no brassing no strap wear, NO paint loss of any kind. It is extremely clean inside and out and is dust-free.The camera is pristine condition. Flash hot shoe and eyepiece has No sign of use at all. All the letters and number are crisp and bright. Leatherette surface is smooth and fresh, has no any visible sign of wear or dust. Back door has absoltuely no sign of wear, in mint condition. All the buttons and levers are in very nice condition. Viewfinder housing is also absolutely mark-free, pristine, in new condition.
Functionally, the camera has been completely tested and all functions work Like New.
Light meter is spot on. Shutter speed has been tested and is accurate on all speeds. Film advance and rewind are both firm and silky smooth. Film rails are scratch-free and super clean. Shutter blades is free of any kind of marks or scratches, in like new condition. Comes with type K2 focus screen ( K2 is officially standard for FM2 and FM2N, ) Focus screen is absolutely pristine, 100% free of mark, fungus or dust. Pressure is very clean has no mark or blemishes. Mirror is super clean, free of dust or mark. Mirror cushion and light seal are both in new condition. All moving parts or controls function flawlessly.
The FM2N camera bodies feature the ability to change focusing screens and also featured the flash sync speed of 1/250th sec. Top shutter speed 1/4000 of second which is still the highest shutter speed of all commercial mechanical camera even today. The FM2N also features brighter focusing screens for easier and more accurate focusing.
