Indulge in a timeless classic with this swanky 1950s red and black satin smoking robe.

Details include contrasting shawl collar, cuffed sleeves, welt chest and side pockets, lightly padded shoulders, and original sash belt.
This is a well-made robe; originally purchased at The Hecht Co. Men's Store.
It is very nicely tailored with closed seams and a full black satin lining.

The red leans a bit toward a wine color, the last photo is an accurate representation (on my monitor).

There is no size tag- the measurements would indicate a men's size Large.
For ease of comparison to an item you currently own, measurements are taken flat. For the full measurement, please double where appropriate.

Across shoulders, seam to seam: 18"
Chest, underarm to underarm: 21"
Sleeve length, from shoulder seam to cuff: 24"
Length, from top of shoulder to hem: 46"

Very good vintage condition- there are no spots, stains. tears, holes, odors, etc.
The light and/or dark spots seen in the photos are from the sheen of the fabric, or shadows.
There is some creasing/wrinkles, it will need to be pressed before wearing.
