Soviet souvenir chess set commemorating the 1500th anniversary of the founding of Kiev ("Kiev-1500" inscription on the box). Produced in 1982, made of plastic by the Kievplastmass factory in Kiev, former Soviet Union, now Ukraine. The box is torn and tattered.
