This is a vintage Raleigh Bullfrogs snapback cap by Yupoong Cap Co from the Bullfrog's one and only season,1991-92, in the Global Basketball Association. I bought this cap
in the early-90's and never wore it, only displayed it.
This cap features "Bullfrogs" in black-outlined, lime green script font, and a depiction of the Bullfrog's mascot, tongue lolling out and spinning a basketball on its forefinger, on the front. The body, bill and button are all lime green.

Historical notes:
The Global Basketball Association was a very strange, short-lived professional basketball league launched in 1991. There were initially four teams based in the Southern US and four more based in obscure European cities, like Tallinn, Estonia and Vilvoorde, Belgium. Things did not go well and the league folded within two years of its first games.
The Raleigh franchise, which played in Dorton Arena - a groundbreaking facility built in 1952, with design elements later used in the Astrodome and the Superdome - drew heavily on management and players from nearby North Carolina State University. The GM and Coach was Monte Towe, who was the point guard on the great NC State teams of the David Thompson era. Other Wolfpack alums who played for the Bulldogs included Lorenzo Charles (scored the game winning points in the 1983 NCAA Championship team) and Chuck Nevitt, a 7'5" center who played 9 years in the NBA. .
I didn't even know which team belonged to this cap until I researched it to make this post, but now I'm glad to have had this memory jog, as I lived in the Triangle area in the 70's.
