Up for grabs a rare Omega Seamaster Chronometer 2577-7 from 1950 ca. with cal. 352 RG (regulator with micrometer adjustment) and waffle dial resulting in a rarely seen combination.

The watch features a gorgeous waffle/honeycomb textured dial which acquired a nice champagne patina. The dial features a nice configuration with gold indices and arabic numerals at 3-6-9-12, crosshairs dividing the space in 4 sectors with a central minute track and luminous material.

The dial is in good conditions, with a nice uniform patina, no major blemishes except a darker spot between 11 and 12 which is shown in detail in the 6th picture and evident in some light conditions. The luminous material is still present in the markers and in the hands and acquired a nice light brown color. The material is generally intact with the exception of the minute hand which lost some close to the base.

The movement is in good working conditions. It keeps time within 10/20 sec per day (tested only a couple of days).

The case features the distinctive lugs without bevels. It is in good conditions for its age, with sharp edges (it seems unpolished), no major dings/dents and only superficial scratches. The case back retains the original circular brushing.

The crown is an original period correct clover crown with the flat feet omega logo. The glass is not original.

The diameter is 34.5 mm exluding the crown, 18mm between the lugs.

The watch comes with a nice z.r.c leather strap in good conditions and a reproduction buckle.
