This uncirculated 100 Sri Lankan rupee note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. It is an orange note that is dated 19 November 2005, bear the signatures of Mahinda Rajapaksa and Sunil Mendis, and measures 144 mm x 72 mm. Its obverse side features an ornate urn. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and shows flowers, the Sigiriya Castle Ruins in Matale District, four women picking tea leaves, and two rose-ringed parakeet birds. Security features include a solid security thread with printed CENTRAL BANK OF SRI LANKA RUPEES ONE HUNDRED and a watermark of a lion holding a whip with an electrotype sword.
