A Stanley 9 1/2A block plane. The A series was made in the UK only for a few years in the 1980s as I understand and has a more "modern" look. They are also very nice planes, and this one has the adjusting mouth, lateral adjuster which works from both sides, and a depth adjuster which is different from the "vintage" 9 1/2 style, being more like that found on the 220.

This plane suffered exposure to moisture on its left hand side, leading to pitting on most of that side and a little on the corresponding side of the sole. The plane is otherwise in good condition and has been cleaned inside and out.

It'll take a shaving and has good length left on the cutting iron. It will perform better with a full re-sharpening.

I'm happy to combine postage costs where I can. Thank you for looking.
