Ropes are not supplied with rakes, but are readily available.

These uniquely designed rakes have been tried and tested for several years in the UK and Europe, as well as America, South Africa and Australia. The frame is made of sturdy 3mm thick mesh, in 25mm squares, reinforced with a 6mm bar framework. This frame also incorporates the end anchoring points and a rear anchor point. The rakes are fully galvanised (hot dipped in molten zinc).

The flotation tubes are zip tied to the framework with heavy duty 7.6mm plastic ties.

They are suitable for medium or large surface or floating weed, rather than tiny species of floating weed such as duckweed. (See other listings for duckweed rakes).  It will not be so effective for deep rooted thick stemmed lilies and similar which have their leaves floating on the surface, but their roots firmly anchored in the lake or pond bed.

They are available in five sizes,29" long frame, 40" long frame, 48" long frame, and a 70" wide (80" long two part frame) and a 96" wide three part frame. This listing is for the 40" long Rake.

Rakes can be thrown from the bank, and pulled in by the user, or they could be pulled back and forth across a pond or lake using the rear anchor point, with another operator on the opposite bank. They could also be dropped off from a boat for bank retrieval. Ropes are not supplied with the rakes.
