This listing features four small trinket boxes, consisting of three porcelain examples made by Limoges and one brass cloisonne example. Perfect for storing small items such as jewellery, these boxes are both functional, decorative, and collectable.


The first is the rare  Edgar Degas Ballerina Painting, Limited Edition. Beautifully detailed , perfect & pristine Degas painting of ballerinas  captured by a talented Limoges artist, mounted on a 'wooden' easel. Inside a  painting of artist's brushes. 2x7x5.5cm.


The second is Limoges "Chess Set".  A complete chess game in miniature. The board is intricately painted on the inside.

This rare, amazing, limited edition, R. M. C, Limoges box, finished in 22KT gold.  A fleur-de-lys forms the clasp.  Inside are thirty-two, fully detailed, hand painted chess pieces. Marked with the artist's initials "AD". 2x5x5cm.


The third is a hand painted miniature of Bal du Moulin de la Galette by Renoir. This exquisite trinket box is marked edition 424/750, with the artist's initials of "MJP".  Again, a rare item.

The last is a small brass cloisonne box, most likely Chinese. Decorated with a ladybird on the lid and a scrolling foliate pattern elsewhere. 2x4.5x3cm.
