An absolutely stunning and unique piece.

A miniature purse watch in good running condition.

Approximately 30mm diameter.

Hinge, release and catch all working fine. Depress the loop to open. It’s best to have a finger handy as it can jump open with some force.

All metal case (non precious). I would think it was originally covered in some form of hide.

Very clean crystal and a lovely dial. Some lume missing from the hour hand.

8 ish to 9 ish ligne Swiss 15 Jewel movement, possibly by FHF. In working condition and has timed to about 1.5 mins in a 24 hour period. Judging by the service marks it was last serviced in 1966 so is therefore overdue. First service mark looks to be from 1929 although it is hard to tell. I would estimate the age of the watch to be 1930s but could be a decade earlier. The Talis name on the ratchet wheel was registered in 1917 and operated to 1937.

Overall a beautiful little piece of horological history.
