Stabilized Maple Burl Knife Scales.  Also can be used for pistol grips, handle material, or other woodworking projects.  Pictures and video show blanks misted with denatured alcohol to show figure and simulate the look of the wood once a finish is applied.

NOTE:  There was a void in lower edge of one side that was filled with black pigmented epoxy (see pics & video)
