Cartier Santos Slate grey face

Beautiful Santos in steel watch with the sought-after and rare slate gray dial.

The highlight of this Santos is certainly the rare and extremely attractive dark slate gray dial with gold Cartier lettering at 6 o'clock. The dial itself is in very good condition.
The hands are in very good condition.

The case is in good condition with no signs of wear on the case flank and on the horns.  The bezel is also stainless steel and has some scratches.

The strap is in overall used but good condition some minor scratches. The bracelet was replaced by Cartier in September 2001 as the original snapped and was found to be faulty (see photo)

There are no scratches on the glass. Measures approx 29MM across without the winder & approx 41MM lug  to lug.

I purchased this in Harrods 26/01/1986

Comes complete with all original boxes and paperwork.(outer white card box is damaged and stained)  

It was regularly serviced at Cartier, Bond Street, London until I stopped wearing it around 2006/7. (See photo of receipts and the last receipt detail.) 

It has not been worn for a number of years, except on special occasions, but is still working fine. I am currently wearing it and it is working and keeping time!

I am also including in the sale two travel accessories supplied by Cartier, one soft red suede and one hard grey suede box - both with watch cushions and both carry the Cartier logo.
