Eddie Lawson #21 Kawasaki Z1000R AMA superbike champion 1981 & 1982 commemorative decal / sticker . Size ( 5” x 3.5” )
Eddie Lawson was one of the best of the early AMA superbike champions , winning the championship 2 years in a row in 1981 & 1982 on the legendary Kawasaki S1 1000 team lime green race bike ( which eventually Kawasaki made into a road bike ) the KZ1000R elr in 1983 / 1984 & Z1100R elr 1985 & 1986 ) see pic 12 .
Eddie Lawson then moved on to become the World 500cc Grand Prix champion .
But his Early days riding for Kawasaki were the ones that he enjoyed the most racing in the AMA superbike series against other great riders like Honda’s “ fast “ Freddie Spencer & Suzuki’s Wes Cooley & Yamaha’s Wayne Rainey .
This decal was the front cover of cycle world magazine in the USA , & a great pic of Eddie cranked right over scraping the tarmac with his knee , it was so iconic was made into posters & decals .
Looks great on Eddie Lawson reps , on gas tanks / bikini nose fairings / tailpieces / back of crash helmets / back of race vans / cars etc ....
p&p £2.95 in U.K. , will airmail worldwide ....
