HUGE Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler lot on vinyl!

1) Brothers In Arms - RARE original Robert Ludwig mastered Allied pressing from 1985 on Warner Brothers with printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  LP is a gorgeous near mint minus.  Cover is a beautiful VG++.

2) Alchemy - ULTRA RARE Winchester gatefold pressing from 1984? on Warner Brothers' ghost shield label with mastering by Robert Ludwig on sides one, two and four and Bill Kipper on side three, Allied dead wax stamp on sides two and four only and original black poly inner sleeves!!!  Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the massive, all-knowing Discogs database whatsoever.  THAT'S how you know it's rare.  LPs are VG++ with the exception of side 1, which is VG+.  Cover is a nice VG+ with a small sticker residue in the top right hand corner on the front.

3) Making Movies - Greg Calbi mastered Specialty/Europadisk pressing from 1980 on Warner Brothers with EAST embossed around the center hole on side 2 and glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  LP is VG with 2 tiny scuffs on side one that can be lightly felt and cover is easily VG+, close to VG++, with a hint of edge wear.

4) Music From The Film Cal - credited to only Mark Knopfler.  Greg Calbi mastered Hauppauge pressing from 1984 on Mercury's black label!!!  LP is VG/VG+ with a few light scuffs.  Cover is a nice VG with a bit of ring.

5) Communique - WILDLY RARE Winchester pressing from 1979? on Warner Brothers' ghost shield label with WW3 SP 1-1/WW1 #7 etched in the dead wax, respectively, on sides one and two, glossy black & white printed inner sleeve, embossed envelope image on the front cover and NO barcode!!!  Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the gargantuan, sprawling Discogs database whatsoever.  MEGA rare.  LP is a beautiful VG++ with a few barely visible paper scuffs.  Cover is VG++ as well with a hint of ring.

6) Local Hero - credited to Mark Knopfler only.  RARE Warner ghost shield label pressing from 1983? with Allied logo stamp and BK (Bill Kipper) etched in the dead wax on side two ONLY and NO Winchester or SP etching on either side!!!  Release year is unclear as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in the all-knowing Discogs database.  VERY rare.  LP is VG++ with a few light scuffs on side two.  Cover is a beautiful VG++/NM-. 

7) Self-Titled EP - Robert Ludwig mastered Specialty first pressing from 1983 on Warner Brothers' tan horizontal stripes label with printed poly inner sleeve with WB shield wallpaper design!!!  Vinyl side 1 is VG+ with a few light paper scuffs and side 2 is VG++ with even fewer and lighter paper scuffs.  Cover is VG/VG+ with some light edge wear.

8) Love Over Gold - MEGA RARE Robert Ludwig mastered Carrollton Columbia House pressing from 1982? with (H-PY)/<JXP> dead wax etchings, respectively, on sides one and two, glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and Columbia House text in the bottom right hand corner on the rear cover and NO barcode!!!  Release year cannot be confirmed as there isn't a single entry for this pressing anywhere in Discogs.  VERY rare.  LP is a beautiful near mint minus.  Cover has a small thumb crease in the bottom right hand corner and is still in the original shrink wrap.

9) Self Titled LP - RARE Warner Brothers ghost shield label pressing from 1983 with Winchester logo etched in the dead wax on side one and Specialty logo stamped on side two, NO barcode and glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics!!!  LP is a beautiful VG++/NM-.  Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and stunning.  Even has the original custom barcoded Kmart price code label on the left hand side near the spine on the front cover.  An absolute high grade copy with impeccable provenance.  This is what collecting is about.

10) Money For Nothing - ULTRA RARE Bobby Hata mastered Specialty/Allied pressing from 1988 on Warner Brothers with EAST stamped around the spindle hole on the side two label, glossy printed inner sleeve with complete lyrics and rounded corners at the top and original big pink six-song hype sticker in the top right hand corner on the front cover!!!  LP is a beautiful near mint minus.  Cover is still in the original shrink wrap and beautiful as well.  Even has the original $7.99 Rose Records (R.I.P.) price sticker on the front cover at the top.  An absolute high grade copy of this rarity with immaculate provenance.  This is what collecting is about.
