Here is an antique wooden snuff box with a separate lid. The lid has two hunting dogs chasing a stag. The box has a crisscross striker pattern going around the outside of the box. The box measures about 3 1/2" x 2" x 7/8" (deep). The lid is about 3 5/8" x 2 1/8". It is estimated that the decorative pieces were separately connected to the box and lid.
