This is the 1 rupee stamp overpaying the registered letter rate to the USA.  The stamp is cancelled VICTORIA SEYCHELLES 28 August 1935. On the reverse is a large wax seal TREASURY SEYCHELLES. There are also 2 different NEW YORK receipt marks of 1 and 2 October 1935. The envelope is an OHMS type.  This type of cover was often used for sending postage stamps to buyers from the Post Office. Neil Donen has prepared a series of 3 articles about this sort of cover published in Gibbons Stamp Monthly. This example has its original contents being a statement of stamps purchased from the Post Office. The statement is large and was oringinally folded many times to fit the envelope. It will be folded to be sent to the buyer. In the picture, a little was trimmed top and bottom by the scanner as it exceeds A4 size.
I hope the general condition is apparent from the 600 dpi scan, but please do contact me with any queries.

VAT
I am not registered for VAT and do not need to charge it. However, Ebay sometimes adds VAT to invoices to European countries at various different rates. I have no control over this and derive no benefit if this happens, in fact I lose as Ebay charge their percentage on the tax as well as the actual price and postage.  If the VAT added to an invoice makes a transaction unviable, please let me know and I will cancel the transaction.

COMBINED POSTAGE
I am selling other 1935 Silver Jubilee iitems. I will combine postage as weight allows. If bidding on items finishing on different days please let me know to avoid any misunderstandings over invoicing.

POSTAGE COSTS AND TERMS OF BUSINESS
Postage is £1.35 to UK addresses for fist class (I will send 2nd class at 85p on request),  and £2.50 to the rest of the world for standard services (without tracking) at the buyer's risk. I always obtain a certificate of posting and take a scan of the envelope before posting, so cannot consder any claims for non-delivery. I will use other services on request and at the actual cost charged by Royal Mail. For sendings over £50 I prefer to use tracked  services - special delivery to UK addresses at £7.95, and tracked/signed air mail to the rest of the world (£8.15) and will invoice accordingly.
