WW2 era US Military B17 Side Position 30 Round 50 Cal Ammo Can Lot 1

This can was used on the side position mounts of B17s due to the limited available space. It held 30 rounds of 50 cal ammunition. The can shows wear and tear from age, storage, and use. There is some surface rust and other discoloration of the metal, but the item is in solid shape otherwise.

I will be listing another of these ammo cans in a separate listing. The only discernible difference is the small latch on the lid.
