This is a vintage piece most likely from the 1960s or 1970's. It reads, "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare" on each fake book and has a Roman numeral on the lower portion. There are what would appear to be a set of six books. When you open the top there is a decanter with a chain and plate which has Scotch on one side and Gin on the other. It also comes with four shot glasses which sit next to the decanter. The inside is lined with a tan colored felt. The is made out of what appears to be compressed wood much like an old cigar box. It is covered with a brown paper which is showing signs of its age.
The box measures 8 1/2" inches tall, 5" deep and 8 1/2" wide.
The decanter is 7" tall and 3" wide.
Shot glasses are 2" tall.
