This TRULY IS A ONE OF A KIND & RARE 2000 Celebration Barbie!!!
After a conversation with Mattel, THIS particular BARBIE has a Manufacturer's "SPECIAL MARKING" that NO other Barbie Collector has contacted Mattel about.,,
Look at the Ornament Ball.
The "2000" that SHOULD be on this ball is NOT THERE. Instead, there is a manufacturing defect and on the ball is listed the number "200" and NOT 2000!!!
As you can see from the pictures, there is NO holes where the last zero that all the REST OF THE Celebration BARBIES have a 3rd zero for the number 2000. No evidence of that here.
This is the ONLY BARBIE that has THIS MARKING made by the manufacturer as per the representative at Mattel. They have never had a customer ask about this particular anomoly. It's New In The Box and never been taken out.
There is no evidence of a broken piece or a piece that is missing! This is TRULY a ONE OF A KIND, RARE, VINTAGE Barbie!!!! She is in Impeccable condition as well as the ornament that comes with it!
The Box is in GREAT Condition with only a small blemish & a bend inwards on the back. The top and bottom golden toned panels are in Great shape as well with minimal to no lifting on the corners!
