"The Utopia Yarn Book: Being a Practical Treatise on Knitting and Crocheting" is a 128 page, 7"x9.75" softcover published in 1904 by the Manufacturers of Utopia Yarns. No author is credited. This is the first edition. It provides directions for various stitches and to create many items using Utopia yarn: children's clothing, a high-necked kimono, various sweaters and jackets, scarfs, shawls, etc. There are black-and-white illustrations throughout.
The book is in acceptable, reading-only condition, missing the cover (and with it, most of the index). The outermost remaining pages have stains (couple pages at the back affected) and spots, small tears and chips, a pencil mark at front top.
