Reprinted 1934 French Military Medal Reference/Research Guide w/Illustrations
This appears to be a (relatively) modern reprint/copy of a French military medal reference book published in 1934. The loosely translated title is as follows:
- French Orders, Colonial Orders, Commemorative Medals Medals of Honor from Ministries; Crosses and Medals of the 1914-18 War of the Allied Countries
The editor was an individual by the name of M. Delande and the original box was published in 1934. It is almost entirely printed in French, but with the aid of modern translation apps and programs, this should be a small inconvenience. There are pages upon pages of fantastic engravings and illustrations documenting medals from across France, the Great Powers, and French colonial forces. This is a fantastic resource for any collector of French military medals, or those interested in French military history.
Book is lightly used and shows minimal signs of wear and tear from age and use.
