These Proto 1000 series RDC’s are beautiful replicas of the famous Boston and Maine RDC’s that ran in the 1960-70’s in Boston and maybe later. I bought them in the 1970’s and ran them sparingly before switching over to O gauge. I took the worm motor out of one powered unit and turned it into a dummy unit. The motor and all the parts are intact and included in this deal. They ran smooth and quietly when they were last run. They will look great in your HO layout. I selling both units “ as is” with returns accepted. Even one engine was removed from one of the RCD’s I have included the motor and all the all parts needed to convert it back to a motorized unit. Instructions are included from Like-Like. Worm gear precision and very quiet.
