This is a very rare 1984 TYPE 1 Original Photo of Prince. This image was used for Prince's "Purple Rain" Album and Film Poster. This was his most successful Album of his career. He had a movie in which he starred in called "Purple Rain" that won a Academy Award. He created the soundtrack which received huge commercial success spending 6 consecutive months at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. This album would go on to sell 13 million copies making Prince the first artist to have a #1 Movie, #1 Single and #1 Album all simultaneously. This moment was captured while performing at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit on November 1984. This period is what would catapult him into superstardom.
