Maker: It's indisputable: Limoges says quality. And T&V - Tressemann and Vogt - produced some of the world's finest and most beautiful Limoges porcelain.

Age: This elegant large serving platter has the T&V magenta bell decorator's mark number 16 that was in use between 1907 and 1919. A green underglaze "Limoges France" white ware mark also appears. Source: The Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston, third edition.

Design: The pattern features clusters of vivid flowers against a pure white background of fine porcelain. replacements.com calls this pattern TRV192.

Size and weight: The platter is 15 5/8 inches long, 12 5/8 inches wide and 2 inches deep. It weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces.


Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, repairs or crazing. There is a small spot of wear in the center design - it's shown in the photo with the arrow.
