Lou Reed and Mick Rock

In November 1972, Transformer launched Lou Reed from the underground way up to Mars, with a little help from Starman Bowie. Mick Rock was there to capture Reed's flight on film, beginning with the iconic album cover and continuing through the wild side of the Seventies.

40 years later, Lou Reed, rock icon, artist and poet, collaborated with legendary photographer Mick Rock in one of the most visually exciting books Genesis has ever produced.

'I'm happy our relationship has weathered the slings and arrows and outrageous antics of the past 40 years, enabling us to come together to produce such a beautiful tome.' Mick Rock
Long sold out, fantastic book on Lou Reed by the iconic photographer Mick Rock. Less than 500 of these books were signed by Lou due to his unfortunate death.

This copy has been signed twice by both Lou Reed and the late Mick Rock.  It was likely signed at the New York City launch party.  I have not seen another copy signed twice.  The copy is even more valuable if your name is Bill.

Book and slipcase in excellent condition.  Bottom of slipcase has a white substance which could probably be cleaned off.  Comes with the picture disc single featuring Walk on the Wild Side & Coney Island Baby.

The Original Genesis Publication shipping box is not included.
