Large antique silver photograph frame with ornate shaping and floral repousse work.

Hallmarked Birmingham 1911 with the silversmith's mark 'J. G LTD' for Joseph Gloster Ltd.

The frame stands on an easel but requires the addition of a piece of ribbon to prevent it opening too wide.

Original internal green lining with a small mark.

The back of the frame appears to be compressed cardboard which resembles wood.

The original glass is missing but has been replaced with Perspex which works very well.

Some small areas of wear to the repoussé work caused by excessive polishing and some small dings all commensurate with age and use.

A lovely antique frame which displays well.
