Vintage DIY OTL Tube Amplifier From JAPAN. 100 volts. Needs a step down transformer or a variac.

The amp plays very nice. I mistakenly took the description from a different listing. This amp plays fine on both channels. See video.

Powers up and plays

I use a variac. A couple of times when I turned it on to full 100 volts I heard a clicking sound. This doesn’t happen when I turn the voltage up gradually to 100 volts on the variac. Even as short as over 20 seconds

Otherwise this and sound nice but I am now technically inclined and have not figured out the bias pots and how to use them. I’m sure the amp will sound even better then

The transformer makes a tiny sound if you are close to it.
