This is a very cool piece of entertainment memorabilia from the mid-1970's. It is an Emmy Nomination Certificate from 1977-1978. The nomination is for Tom Davis and team of writers on The Paul Simon Special in the category of Outstanding Writing in a Comedy-Variety or Music Special. The special aired on December 8, 1977 on NBC.
Tom Davis was comedic partners with Al Franken, and one of the main writers on SNL. His most famous skit was probably the Coneheads.
