The manual suggests inserting the small yellow part into the shaft to hold the handle in place (see the last 2 photos), but if you leave it out, you can make the club longer or shorter and use the section of gray plastic around the shaft to keep the handle at the length you want. Ideal for younger players.
The box has a flap cut out at one end to make it easier to store the clubs without completely disassembling them (see photo). I removed the handles for shipping so the box wouldn't be any bigger than it already is, but you can leave them on when storing the game.
Our family loved setting up and playing the game together. My children especially loved playing with their grandfather who played at par or below well into his 80s.
