4 x Vredestein Wintrac 195/65 R15 91H winter tyres fitted to factory OEM Rover 75 alloys

In excess of 7mm tread per tyre with even wear and no damage

Date stamped 2020. This is important! Don't allow yourself to get conned into buying scrap tyres here on ebay from other vendors. Winter tyres derive their grip from the high silica content rubber compound. Over time the oils evaporate from the rubber and the tyres harden to the point they cannot any longer function effectively as a winter tyre. Best practice dictates that in 'average' use (average mileage, tyres fitted for 4-5 months of the year during the colder months) a winter tyre starts to lose its capabilities from 5 years old, ideally this is when they should be replaced, but certainly no more than 10 years old which is really the outer limit for a safe and effective winter tyre. Also, for a winter tyre to be effective you require adequate tread depth; in many European countries a winter tyre is considered to legally constitute a summer tyre below 4mm of tread, therefore at this point a winter tyre should be considered FULLY worn. Winter tyres that are over a decade old or have less than 4mm of tread are discarded as waste tyres in countries like Germany, only to have them imported to countries like the UK where they are sold as either a cheap alternative to a summer tyre (bad idea, winter tyres have poor grip and horrendous wear characteristics in warm summer weather), or as 'cheap' winter tyres to be sold to uninformed buyers. These tyres have been THROWN AWAY in countries like Germany, Switzerland and Austria only to be imported to the UK by the container load instead of ending up as landfill and now they're being sold for £30 or £35 each to you.

These tyres were purchased for a skiing holiday that never happened due to Covid. I drove no more than 2000 miles in the UK on these tyres and only during the winter months. From Spring to end Autumn they were stored lying flat in a dark garage. I didn't fit them at all to the car one winter so they were only fitted during 2 winters, during which time I covered few miles.

The Vredestein Wintrac was chosen for its excellent performance and I can confirm that their capabilities are superb. They have no discernible difference in fuel economy compared to summer tyres and noise levels are similarly low. They came 4th position in the Auto Bild 2021 winter tyre test of 50 different models and are up there in the top 10 by nearly any metric. https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/2021-Auto-Bild-Winter-Tyre-Test.htm

These tyres retail for £80 a corner. https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rshop/tyre/Vredestein/Wintrac/195-65-R15-91H/D60546
I'm asking half price for the tyres and £10 a rim which is approximately what you can get if you weigh them in for scrap metal. The fitting would be £80 for the 4 wheels so if you're looking for a winter wheel set for your 75 or MG ZT you'll save yourself a fortune with this set.

They are fitted to 4 OEM alloy wheels from the Rover 75.
