Designed by Chase Crouch, a young brain tumor survivor at the OHSU Doernbecher Children’s hospital in Portland, this 2014 Stefan Janoski Max DB ‘Doernbecher’ features a colorway based on Chase’s favorite dinosaur toy that helped him through his recovery. The fuzzy teal upper features metallic gold Swoosh, laces, and piping with Obsidian accents on the tongue and collar. The sneaker also includes a C7 logo on the tongue that nods to Chase’s age when he designed the shoe, Obsidian speckles on the midsole, and a red visible Air Max unit in the heel.
