For sale, a rare copy of a special 1983 supplement by Motor magazine, covering the Peugeot Talbot carmaker.

Title is "On the Road to Recovery", and the cover summary reads as follows:

"Once, not long ago, the Peugeot Group was highly profitable, but the fuel crisis plus the acquisition of Talbot (née Chrysler) brought numerous problems. Now, after several years of heavy losses, Peugeot and Talbot are beginning to return to profitability, helped by successful models such as the new Peugeot 205 and the Talbot Samba. We chart the progress of this giant multinational through interviews with senior executives, an analyis of its engineering philosophy, a report on its exciting motorsport plans, a talk with a senior member of the Peugeot family and an examination of the way Peugeot and Talbot fit together. Plus brief histories of the Peugeot and Talbot marques."

A4, 32pp, staple binding, mix of full colour and b/w pages. Condition is generally excellent for a magazine of this age; please note vertical fold (see photos).

Cars featured include Talbot racing car, Samba, Alpine and historic vehicles; also Peugeot three-wheeler, rally cars, concept car Vera, 505, 305, 205 and 504 pick-up.
