- Beautifully made and fantastic sounding professional quality electro acoustic guitar from Takamine's premium Japanese built Santa Fe line

- This PSF45C NEX bodied Santa Fe model dates from July 1996 and features a very high spec. including:

- Solid cedar top and solid rosewood back, with rosewood sides and a rosewood fingerboard

- Takamine Graph-Ex preamp with full onboard EQ and exciter tone shaping controls

- Takamine's modular preamp system means that the preamp is interchangeable with several other compatible Takamine preamps by simply popping it from its mounting frame and re-connecting the two plug-in cables. As such the preamp can be upgraded if required to any of Takamine's high end preamps, including any of the Cool Tube preamps, CT4DX etc. 

- For its age in particular, the guitar is in very good all round condition, this clear testament to the quality of the original Japanese construction. The photographs don't really do the guitar justice given that I have tried as best possible to highlight relatively small areas in detail. This is a lovely instrument which oozes quality and class, especially when in one's hands 

- The neck angle is excellent and the saddle height is normal, meaning that there is still adjustment if required. The guitar currently has a low, buzz-free, fast and smooth playing action

- Strung with a fresh set of 12 gauge strings

- New super alkaline battery fitted to the preamp

- The cedar top has aged nicely and is generally in very good condition with just a few various marks from use and general wear and tear as a working instrument - all shown as best possible in the photos

- The tone has meanwhile mellowed beautifully, as only a genuinely aged cedar top can

- There are a few small marks on the guitar from use over the years and I have shown these as best possible in the photos. Clearly the guitar is almost twenty eight years old and was designed to be used as a professional working instrument 

- A second pickup has evidently been fitted at some point during the guitar's life and a mounting hole for a second jack input has been installed on the underside of the lower bout. This is in turn has had a rubber grommet fitted. The grommet is easily removed if a similar second input is required at any point in future. Please see the photos for details 

- The frets are in genuinely superb condition, showing no discernible wear. If the guitar has had a re-fret at some point (eminently possible in view of its age, but not necessarily the case) then this is truly the best professional re-fret I have ever seen 

- The original Takamine cleaning cloth and Takamine sticker which came with the guitar from new are also included as pictured, as well as a key for the original Takamine TKL ABS case, the latter also being a high quality item

- The case is also generally in very good condition. A small repair has been made to what has evidently been a small crack near the top section. The repair appears to have been professionally done, is solid as a rock and is only noticeable upon close inspection. The interior is in genuinely first class condition - clean and fresh with no smoke or other unpleasant odours 

- The equivalent Santa Fe model from the current Takamine range costs in the order of £2,500. These are very high quality, highly regarded guitars and as well as being an eminently versatile professional instrument for daily use, be that on stage, in the studio, or just at home, the Santa Fe will almost certainly only appreciate in value over time
