Fully restored vintage Hoover Junior 1354 Dirt Searcher. Manufactured November 1969.
I have spent a significant amount of time restoring this machine to its former glory. The following work has been completed:
Machine has been fully stripped to every last component. All components cleaned and washed.
Wheel axles, screws and all metal components have been polished and cleaned
Plastic hood and lamp assembly have been wet sanded and machine polished to remove discolouration and scratches
New genuine Hoover headlamp lens fitted
New genuine Hoover cable hook fitted
New genuine Hoover foam flash pad installed
New belt pulley installed
New genuine Hoover front and rear motor bearings installed
New motor brushes installed
Motor suppressor bypassed and removed for safety
New handle socket and pivot pin fitted to eliminate any handle wobble
Agitator fully stripped and repainted
New agitator brushes installed
New agitator end caps installed
New belt fitted
HEPA bag fitted
Comes with instruction manual
Obviously the machine runs incredibly well, and it is unlikely that you will find anything else as good as this for sale very often. There are many rare parts and a significant amount of time invested in this machine, so the reserve price will reflect this. I have spent lots of time and money in restoring this and it is sold in good faith, however due to its age, it is sold with no warranty or guarantees.
