1948 Palestine War Campaign Medal - bronze and enamel, in mint condition.

The Palestine Military Medal was awarded in 1948 to soldiers and fighters who fought to protect Palestine from the Israeli occupation.

Description of the medal...  the top is the Dome of the Rock, which represents Muslims, and inside the dome is the Church of the Resurrection, which represents Christians.

Below them are two crossed swords, symbolizing the protection of holy places. In the middle are two maps of Palestine.

On the right is the word Palestine in Arabic, and on the left is the date 1948. Surrounding both maps is the green color, which is the blessed olive tre
