Want
a cheap thrills cam for those budget builds or daily drivers? Have many
years of experience and understand that every part has its place? Then
these are the cams for you. If you are building a high dollar build or
applying a power adder, or you feel you are the second coming of Smokey Yunick or Dyno Don you need to find another source for your project. These are used
OEM cores that are being reground and may have some imperfections but
will be functional. I choose to sell these for those that want a budget
way to get into the hydraulic roller scene but don’t want to spend a few
hundred dollars doing so. Since these are stock OEM used cores, I have
no timing actions and they come with no cam card. The only specs I can
give you are what is listed down below. If you do choice to buy one, be
aware of these facts before you buy and copy those specs below for
future reference? Again, these are for budget builds or daily drivers.
Not for projects were 25 pounds of boost is involved. Now you can build a
beater and mud run the h*ll
out of it. You can also slam together a banger for a 150 shot. I’ve had
a guy win a drag series with one and many returning customers. I’ve
also had buyers expect Way too much for something they should have never
bought! So, if you’re an experienced builder that knows thing or two
about parts from all price ranges and what to expect, fill free to
purchase one and you’ll get the best bang for your buck on ebay!
Turn Around Time
The
turnaround time on these cams are about 4 days. They are ground when
you buy so you can think of them as custom orders. With the new
logistics problems that we as a whole are experiencing in this day and
age, I wouldn’t buy one if you are broke down on the side of the road.
You might want to keep that in mind when making your decision. When
shipped they will go through the Fedex
system 3 day Ground with standard insurance coverage, so you can plan
on at least a week for delivery. If you have a PO Box you may want to
have the cam shipped to a residential address. Please reach out ahead of
time if any shipping concerns arise so we can plan accordingly. I will
try and do my best to get you your order as soon as possible because I
have been in your position: wither the item is for a customers’ build or
for gathering parts for a future build.. I've been there.
Warranty
I
have no problem giving you your money back if you are not satisfied.
Just keep in mind before you buy that these are not new cores cut on a
CNC, and could have blemishes that are more of an eye sore than a go
sore. If you want to replace a cam email me first so we can swap them out.. Please
do not request a refund for a cam swap! I will mail you a shipping
label for the return, and that should give me time to have the
replacement cut and ready to ship. When the return enters the shipping
system the replacement should be ready to go. Email me if you have
problems first so we can work things out without ebay’s
involvement. If you just want a refund then by all means request one
because again, I have no problem doing so. Just do me a solid and make a

Description and Process
This is a Hydraulic Roller Camshaft for a Chevy 305 or 350 roller block originally equipt with a hydraulic roller camshaft. This is a regrind that was ground here
locally in
Dallas by experienced machinists. These guys have been grinding
camshafts for years.
Be aware that the regrinding process can leave tolerances in the
+/- .004 range. The goal of these cams is for offer an inexpensive way
to experience hydraulic roller power and durability! The camshafts
profiles are reground from used OEM cores. They are cold vatted to clean
any elements off and checked for straightness; if they need extra
attention then their brought back to square.
Due to the nature of the grinding process the cams become small based
circle. The higher the lift the greater the base small is reduced.
Basically, the base circle and flanks of the lobes are reshaped to
create the new profile. So, by the shear events the "bigger the cam" the
greater the clearance. This works in favor for larger displacement
application (larger strokes) needing a bigger cam.
**Always check you push rod length as I cannot advise you on the required dimension**
The lobes and journals are polished and afterwards the camshaft is then
dipped in hydraulic fluid, wrapped and boxed for a long shelf life. I
have had many set
for years and when unpacked look fresh for use, but it is always good
practice to examine parts that set for long periods of time. The picture
is a generic photo for advertising purpose. It is not the cam you will
receive, but showcases the finish these cams acquire.
