Up for your consideration is this vintage Singer Featherweight sewing machine, model 221J. This is the tan model that was made for one year in 1961. (serial no. JE161022) Please look at all of the pictures for condition of this machine, there are some paint chips and the case is not in perfect condition, some delamination in spots of the vinyl covering. Not sure if the motor is original to the machine as it's white. It is a Singer motor and it does work.
We did plug this one in and it DOES work via the foot switch.
PLEASE BE ADVISED, THIS IS NOT A PLUG AND PLAY MACHINE. THEY ALMOST ALWAYS NEED TO BE GIVEN THE ONCE OVER BY A TECHNICIAN WHO'S FAMILIAR WITH THE SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT. IT WILL NEED CLEANING, CALIBRATION AND A LUBE JOB.
