Antique late 1800's Square in Sqaure Quilt.

SIZE

Quilt : approx  69" x 81".

Block : approx 7" x 7".

Smallest square piece in block : approx 1 1/4" x 1 1/4".

MATERIAL

Late 1800's cotton fabric with thin cotton batting.

CONDITION & DETAIL

(Please carefully look at the photo)

The drafts of the quilt pattern are still on the front, 

so it appears that the quilt has never been washed and not used much.

Small pieces of fabric have deteriorated in two blocks.

There are a few very small rips on the front, and approx 2" rip on one the edges.

There is No major damage to the quilt.

There are minor stains around the approx 7 blocks and back side of the quilt.

There is No ugly stain on the quilt.

Batting is Not much worn or clumped.

It's made by fine hand sewing with approx 7 stitches per inch.

The quilt is clean and in overall very good antique condition.
