Original metal-faced printer’s block bookplate for St. Luke’s Memorial Reading Room of St. Luke’s Hall of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Designed by Rev. Arthur Howard Noll. Approximately 3-1/4” x 2-3/8”.

In good condition. Inscriptions and paper remnants to rear of wood, marking its page number in an identification book. Stamping to edge of one side of wood. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

This bookplate is seen on page 177 of Some American College Bookplates by Harry Parker Ward (1915). St. Luke’s Hall was built in 1887 and serves as a coeducational residence hall for the University of the South, a Tennessee University associated with the Episcopal Church.
