The Shiva software uses electromagnetic signals corresponding to those of the human brain, derived from related EEG measurements. To generate and control the electromagnetic signals, Shiva uses four external USB sound cards that are connected to your computer via two free USB ports of the same USB controller. The electrical output of the sound cards is converted by the solenoids of the Shiva system into the electromagnetic fields that Shiva ultimately works with. As with the Octopus system, the electromagnetic field strength of the Shiva signals is extremely low, equivalent to that of a telephone receiver or hair dryer. The field strength of cell phones, on the other hand, is much greater. The effects of Shiva are not based on a high signal strength, but rather on the specific characteristics of the generated signals, which correspond to those of the human brain. Another aspect can also be found in the special form of its application (counterclockwise rotating signals around the head).

Use with the Shakti software for use as a Shakti 8-coil set:

In addition to its primary function, the Shiva neuro-stimulation system can also be used as a Shakti 8-coil set. All hardware and software components required for this are already included in the scope of delivery and the Shiva software also contains an explanation of how to reconfigure the Shiva neurostimulation system into a Shakti 8-coil set. Of course, the Shiva set can also be used as a 4-coil or 2-coil Shakti set. All relevant sessions are also included in the Shakti software - as well as the signals and a corresponding assembly instruction for the Shakti helmet, which is no longer available.
