Born Agathe Johanna Erwina Gobertina von Trapp, March 12,1913, in Pula, Croatia and died December 28, 2010 in Towson, Maryland.

Beyond being a part of the musical family we all know, Agathe became a kindergarten school teacher, a class she ran for 35 years at Sacred Heart Catholic parish in Maryland. She along with many of her siblings, also became an artist and author. Agathe painted still life subjects and florals in watercolor and acrylic, as well as becoming accomplished in carving linoleum blocks and creating prints. Her autobiographical book, Memories Before and After the Sound of Music, published in 2004. This is a chance to own a piece of history from the real “Sound of Music” family.
