ORIGINAL FIRST EDITION and RARE: "Heroic Deeds In Our War with Spain" is an episodic history of the fighting in 1898 on Sea and Shore.  In prose and verse and fully illustrated with original drawings by several war artists.

Narrated by numerous war correspondents, this book starts with "Remember the Maine" and 447 pages later ends with a chronology of events.  

Condition:  Overall VG for its obvious pre-owned age.  

HC shows soil and use of a 100+ year old book but is overall in good condition.  Tips have wear from shelf use.  Artwork and writing is still crisp and readable.  

Inside:  Has pencil writing and scribble on first and third  flyleafs.  Other than that I did not come across any other markings, rips/tears or missing pages.
