eBay now requires a UPC code to list a slot car model as new. There is no UPC code for this car. It is listed as “used” only to get an auction listing. This car is not “used,” it is NEW.
New, never run on track, NSR 1032 Porsche 917 K as raced at the 1000 Km of Monza in 1970, driven by David Piper and Tony Adamovicz. Piper had purchased this 917 direct from Porsche in 1969. It was the 1st Porsche 917 that the Porsche factory
sold to a private team. In its first race of 1970, the 1000 Km of Monza, the car had a transmission failure and failed to finish.
I am the original owner of this slot car, having purchased this car soon after its release by NSR.
