Starbucks Mykonos
What can we say about that mug? It’s Greece – so lots of sun, sea and white houses with blue windows covering mountains and hills. It’s beautiful and everyone should visit Greece at least once in a lifetime. Interesting fact, Mykonos’ nickname is The island of the winds and it’s pretty popular tourist destination.

Starbucks Crete.
Crete is an island mug rather than city mug if you will. Crete or Kríti is the largest of the Greek islands with a rich history. There are settlements found on the island, which date back to 130,000 years ago. Crete was later the center of the Minoan, Europe’s first advanced civilization (c. 2700–1420 BC) and hence full of myths and legends. Names and characters like Icarus, King Minos, the Minotaur, and even, Atlantis are all coming from Cretan mythology. Let’s not forget that the great god Zeus was born here as well.
Crete is now a beautiful touristic destination and paradise with its natural beauty, rich culture, and famous cuisine. When on the island, make sure to explore it all, it is worth your extra time, both hands down!
The front of the mug showcases the Venetian Lighthouse of Chania which is located at the end of the pier at the entrance of one of the busiest ports of the Crete. The lighthouse was built by the Venetians in 1570 and is now a symbol of the city.
There is Minoan Palace of Knossos on the back of the mug. It is believed to be the source of the Labyrinth myth where mysterious Minotaur lived. Minotaur was half bull and half man and was eventually killed by Theseus.
