This does play tapes but makes a clunking noise when doing so. When rewind or fastforward are selected it chews tapes unfortunately so selling as spares or repairs. Comes with working remote.

Cosmetically it does show signs of age related wear, scratches etc but no major dents and no missing buttons etc.
