18TH CENTURY GERMAN MEISSEN? PORCELAIN "COURTING COUPLE SCENE" SNUFF BOX

Period: 18th century.

Materials: Porcelain with gilt copper mounts.

Dimensions: 73mm wide x 58mm long x 40mm deep.

Makers marks: Crossed swords mark, Meissen?.

Condition: A small star hairline to the underside, minor wear and rubbing. The gilding on the mount has been very worn. Wear commensurate with age and use. 

Notes: A very nice quality 18th century porcelain box, with fantastic hand painted decoration. Possibly Meissen.
