Very Good Plus vintage condition. Binding is tight and pages are clean and intact. Subtle age-toning to pages and inside covers. No markings or stamps and virtually no shelfwear. Spine has no creasing - book appears to be unread. Tiny chip to top edge of front cover. Mint green edge painting is crisp and unfaded. This is a handsome copy of a swashbuckling adventure yarn by one of literature's greatest storytellers. Although DR. JEKYLL & MR. HYDE and TREASURE ISLAND were more commercially successful, this is generally regarded as Stevenson's strongest work. Exciting cover art is uncredited.
