This  Native American Navajo turquoise and sterling bear paw key ring was purchased in Albuquerque. The key ring was made by an unknown artist, the metal on the thunderbird is sterling and the rest is a base metal..

The key ring measures 2 1/8 inches long and 1 inch wide when closed. The weight is 9.4 grams and it functions by just squeezing the ring and pulling it out.  The turquoise stone is saw tooth set within a shadowbox setting.

Bear Paw: Many believed that bears were able to heal their own wounds. A bear claw might be worn on a necklace to protect a warrior and offer him strength.

A gift box is included with purchase.
