Profusely illustrated by Barnett Freedman with 4 and 6 color lithographs, and signed by him on the colophon. Text printed in 12-point Ehrhardt type on 5-7/8" x 8-3/4" British wove paper at The Cambridge University Press, lithographs pulled at the Curwen Press. Top edge gilt. Bound in lithographic decorated cloth with gilt titles by Sir Robert Leighton at Leighton-Straker. Lithograph pastedowns.  

Books Near Fine. Tight binding, clean interior, gilt top edge well preserved. Covers and spine spotless, gilt titling unblemished. The only flaw is a tiny nick on the foredge of the last blank page after the colophon, see ninth photo. 

Dust jackets entirely intact with sunned and slightly marked spines, some marks on the sides as well.  

Slipcase structurally sound, shelf wear and dusting on the sides, split to the paper on the open edge. Monthly Letter with some edge wear but all contents legible.
