I purchased this new with the intent to run it on a planned HO layout.

Never built the layout so this really nice locomotive has been stored for 15-20 years since puchasing on a closet shelf in my smoke free home. Never run except for a recent test to make sure the motor and lights are working. And they are. Bi directional lights, and a smooth and quiet motor. For testing I didn't snap on the top part so that remains untouched.

Box is in like new condition, too.

This is a no excuses, really nice HO locomotive. 

While it is old school DC, it is DCC ready with an NMRA compatible plug!
